　セシル・マック（Cecil Mack、1873～1944年）作詞、ジョー・ヤング（Joe Young、1889〜1939年）とハロルド・ノーマン（Harold Norman、生没年未詳）作曲による、おそらく西部にいた男が東の故郷へ向けて帰ろうとする思いを歌った楽曲です。ジョー・ヤングとハロルド・ノーマンは、この歌の作曲をしたこと以外の情報は見つけられませんでした。1911年にピアレス・カルテット（Peerless Quartet）がアカペラで歌った録音が、ビルボードのヒットチャートで九位を記録しています。

　セシル・マック（Cecil Mack、1873～1944年）が作詞、クリス・スミス（Chris Smith、1879～1949年）作曲によるクーンソングです。出版楽譜の表紙記載によると、元はバート・ウィリアムズ（Bert Williams、1874～1922年）とジョージ・ウォーカー（George Walker、1872か1873～1911年）のコンビのために書かれたもののようです。ビルボードのヒットチャートでは、1908年にエディー・モートン（Eddie Morton、1870～1938年）の歌ったものが四位、翌1909年にアーサー・コリンズ（Arthur Collins、1864～1933年）とバイロン・Ｇ・ハーラン（Byron G. Harlan、1861～1936年）がコンビで歌ったものが一位を記録しています。
